Biography

 

ENZO PIETROPAOLI

Born in Genova september 29 1955.
In 1961 he moves to Rome and debuts professionally in 1975 with “Trio Di Roma” (Danilo Rea and Roberto Gatto).

Performed and recorded with many significant musicians as
Franco Ambrosetti, Chet Baker, Lester Bowie, Art Farmer, Paolo Fresu, Enrico Rava, Woody Shaw, Kenny Wheeler, Bob Berg, Michael Brecker, Johnny Griffin, Steve Grossman, Mark Turner, Lee Konitz, Gabriele Mirabassi, Archie Shepp, Gianluigi Trovesi, Phil Woods, Curtis Fuller, Jimmy Knepper, Toots Thielemans, Richard Galliano, Brian Auger, Stefano Bollani, Rita Marcotulli, Cedar Walton, Kenny Werner, John Taylor, Norma Winstone, Bobby Hutcherson, John Abercrombie, Pat Metheny, Joe Pass, John Scofield, Ginger Baker, Han Bennink, Kenny Clarke, Billy Cobham, Bob Moses, Alvin Queen, Jeff Ballard.
